Ex mobster now reformed as a crime novelist, finds himself pulled once again into the belly of the beast, when his family is targeted.

Action super star Steven Seagal stars in this crime action thriller as Ruslan, an ex-Russian mobster, reformed as a crime pulp novelist. When he receives, news of his daughters wedding he flies home, only to discover some unpleasant new details. A turn out his daughter is marrying Stephen, the son of his ex-nemesis, Michael Abramov (Igor Jijikine). Beside the fast that his wife is also happily married to a DA, Terry; after some hesitation, he gives his blessing to the wedding. Yet on the day of the wedding, the family is attacked, leaving his ex-wife dead and his daughter injured. The police suspects a robbery, but Ruslan, knows too well this was not a random robbery. He suspects it's a calculated attack, by some of his old rivals. He goes on the hunt to find out.

Carried with a very solid performance by Steven Seagal, as a wronged father, out of revenge. Add, a very dynamic and stylish direction, impeccable cast, and you have an action ride of the highest rate. You want action? Steven Seagal, is your man!
