Limpopo-born actress Lebohang Mpyana - who plays the role of Khelina in DiepCity recently discussed her character and her love life with Obed Baloyi's character -Ringo.

LEBOHANG MPYANA: KILL THEM WITH CONFIDENCE' Multi-award-winning actress Lebohang Mpyana who plays the role of Khelina in DiepCity recently sat down with Drum Magazine to discuss her role and her on-screen romance with Ringo played by Obed Baloyi.

Mpyana who walked away with a Royalty Soapie Award in September for her character tells the publication that she was created with a dose of confidence.

She adds that she embraces who she is and easily walks around with crop-tops without any image insecurities.

I was born with it. Anything that is in my shop and is my size, I buy and wear it.

Why did they make that size, that means we can wear it?

That's just me. When it comes to confidence, I will hurt you.

The actress is also a comedian, musician, and an MC when she is not playing Khelina on the Mzansi Magic telenovela.

Viewers have fallen in love with her portrayal of Khelina as she entertains them with her over-the-top personality and comedy.

PLAYING KHELINA Lebohang Mpyana's character - Khelina is in a relationship with Ringtone/Ringo - played by veteran Xitsonga actor - Obed Baloyi.

Fans can't get enough of the crazy couple with all the romance they're serving.

Mpyana tells Drum that she was born for the arts and was born in Ga-Mokgokong - a village in Limpopo province.

Hard work and determination is needed. Always tell yourself that you are the best.

Tell yourself that no one will be like you. Don't wait for people to tell you that.

She adds that viewers from DiepCity often ask her to impersonate her character in real life.

I am known for my whistle on the show. So I'm public, I am asked to do it.

HER CHARACTER'S ROMANCE WITH RINGO Khelina has fallen in love with Ringo, played by Giyani: Land of Blood actor Obed Baloyi.

They quarreled a lot in the beginning but now get along like house on fire.

Viewers didn't think they'll make it as Ringo seemed overwhelmed and smothered by Khelina's love.

But he's now committed to her and the pair even went on a vacation together during the festive season.

As a lady, you must know your worth. Why would a man want to hide you?

It means there are qualities he doesn't like about you or you are not worth it. He is ashamed of you.

When asked by the publication what viewers should expect from Khelina and Ringo, the actress says:

They (viewers) must just stay tuned because their love is on fire.
