At Inter BEE 2016 , Matrox Video and local distributor Japan Material will feature the acclaimed Monarch family of video streaming and recording appliances, including the new Monarch LCS dual-synchronized H.264 capture and streaming appliance.
Focused on the transition to a multi-channel 4K based infrastructure, Matrox will be demonstrating multi-channel 4K video encoding or decoding of XAVC with X.mio cards and the recently expanded family of Matrox M264 multi-channel 4:2:2 10-bit H.264 encoder cards. The Matrox Convert DVI Plus HD-SDI scan converter will also be on display.
Matrox Monarch - Streaming and Recording Appliances
Generating H.264-encoded video streams at bitrates from 500 Kbps to 30 Mbps, the Matrox Monarch LCS, Monarch HDX, and Monarch HD streaming and recording appliances have powerful scaling, deinterlacing, and noise-reduction engines which ensure only pristine images are sent to the internal encoders. For streaming purposes, the encoders use either RTMP or RTSP protocol to deliver live streams to local or cloud-based media servers. In recording, the encoders write MP4 or MOV files to local USB drives, SD cards, or network-mapped drives for post-event editing or archiving.
Matrox X.mio3 IP - Multi-channel video I/O over 10GbE
X.mio3 IP offersmulti-channel, IP-encapsulated HD, 3G and 4K video I/O, support for all IP transport protocols including ST 2022-6/7, ST 2110, VC2, ASPEN and Sony IP as well as support for an array of compression technologies including J2K, Sony LLVC and TICO, plus hardware based IP packetization, onboard de-interlacing, scaling and compositing to free up CPU cycles, all packed into a single half-height, half-length PCIe card.
Matrox X.mio3 12G - Multi-channel 12G SDI
Matrox X.mio3 12G is a multi-channel 12G SDI card with onboard 4K video processing and HD simulcast designed to help broadcast equipment manufacturers deploy 4K SDI solutions. On-board multi-channel hardware processing accelerates computation-intensive operations including up/down/cross scaling and compositing for resolutions up-to-4K. Two 12G SDI inputs, two 12G SDI outputs, and two reconfigurable 3G SDI I/Os allows for 4K and HD simulcast for broadcast production.
Matrox M264 Family - High-density, multi-channel H.264 encoding and decoding cards
Matrox M264 is the ideal family of multi-channel 4:2:2 10-bit H.264 encoder cards for OEMs who need to add IP streaming capabilities to channel-in-a-box systems, video servers, broadcast graphics systems, multiviewers and switchers or create high-density encoders, transcoders and other broadcast media equipment. The M264 family can now encode/decode up to three streams of 4Kp60 at 4:2:2 10-bit, 30 streams of HD long GOP at 4:2:2 10-bit, or 48 streams of HD at 4:2:0 8-bit. With the capability to provide up to 3 channels of 4K XAVC encoding/decoding in a single slot card, the M264 family now enables OEMs to provide multi-channel 4K production servers on a PC platform.
