Mar a Jimena Duz n es una periodista imprescindible, famosa por revelar la verdad con rigor, carisma y sin tapujos. Gracias a ello, tambi n publica en medios internacionales como El Pa s, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Newsday o Marie Claire.
En el podcast, Mar a Jimena busca darle voz a las diversas realidades de los diferentes sectores del pa s, para ponerlos a debatir y a enfrentarse cara a cara, contando historias y explicando hechos de la mano de sus protagonistas que el mundo desconoce. El tema del primer episodio son las investigaciones penales y administrativas que le han realizado al candidato Sergio Fajardo, justo en tiempos de campa as presidenciales.

Cu les son algunos de los temas a los que va a dedicar sus investigaciones en este podcast? Estamos en plena campa a electoral, as que un tema clave ser c mo se financian las campa as pol ticas en este pa s. Tambi n queremos saber qu es lo que est pasando en la sociedad, sobre todo en esa Colombia de los territorios. Qu est pasando con las comunidades negras? Qu est pasando con las comunidades ind genas? Qu est pasando tambi n con la poblaci n migrante en Colombia?
Para quien ha seguido su carrera como periodista en radio, medios impresos y en video, qu es lo que encontrar n familiar y que ser nuevo en este nuevo podcast? Van a encontrar, como en todos los emprendimientos period sticos que he hecho a lo largo de mi vida, la convicci n de darle voz a casi toda esa multiplicidad de sectores y colores que tiene la sociedad colombiana. Todo, con una nueva herramienta: el lenguaje del podcast.
Cu l ha sido la investigaci n m s dura que ha enfrentado en su carrera? En mi carrera period stica he tenido much simas investigaciones que he hecho y que me han costado muchas l grimas, muchos pesares, y tambi n muchas satisfacciones. Pero tal vez, una de las que m s me ha costado es develar todo este manto de corrupci n que se ha apoderado de la vida p blica Colombia. El periodismo sirve precisamente para desnudar a quienes se creen intocables.
C mo ve el estado del periodismo de investigaci n en Colombia? El periodismo de investigaci n en Colombia est atravesando una crisis tambi n muy profunda. Yo creo que estas nuevas plataformas nos dan la posibilidad de volver a inventarnos a trav s de nuevos formatos y nuevos lenguajes como el podcast.
Cu l es el reto de hacer periodismo de investigaci n de forma independiente y en una nueva plataforma, en formato de podcast? El periodismo de investigaci n yo creo que es la base de todas las historias, de los grandes reportajes. El podcast es la mejor plataforma para poder hacer esos grandes reportajes que otras plataformas de alguna manera no permiten. Es una gran oportunidad y me da mucha emoci n.
