Eurofins Digital Testing has been selected by HAKOM to provide the official Test Suite for digital TV receivers in the Croatian market as part of the country's DTT migration to DVB-T2/HEVC and HbbTV. Through the use of this specially designed Eurofins test suite, HAKOM will be able to ensure that high quality free-to-air digital terrestrial television services can be enjoyed fully by the public. This test suite will allow manufacturers to test their products thoroughly and be confident that their devices meet strict requirements before becoming available to consumers.
The test suite will provide coverage for RF, DTT and HbbTV and specific requirements defined by HAKOM, and will enable manufacturers to internally test their products before being validated. HAKOM will define the certification/validation process in 2018. Eurofins Digital Testing will also begin to offer conformance testing for the HAKOM platform in 2018.
HAKOM is the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries and is the independent authority who supervises and regulates the electronic communications market, including the broadcast and broadband services.
