Shure, Middle Atlantic Products Endorse Stardraw Weblink

Shure Incorporated and Middle Atlantic Products have become the latest manufacturers to endorse Stardraw Weblink, the new service from Stardraw unveiled at InfoComm this year that allows linkage of Stardraw product symbols to any online data. They join other industry leaders including Audio-Technica US, BSS and TOA as early adopters of this unique program that enables manufacturers to exploit the power of the internet to better serve their customers.

Manufacturers enrolling in the Weblink program can embed custom data within the symbols that represent their products across the range of Stardraw design and documentation applications, including Stardraw.net, the worlds first online CAD application.

The custom links can point to simple web pages, or retrieve sophisticated parameter-driven information. Using Weblink, manufacturers can deliver any kind of resource to customers using Stardraw in response to a single click of the mouse; web pages, PDF documents, file downloads, records from databases any and all information relating to physical products can now be accessed from the Stardraw platform by virtue of Weblink. Where products support control over TCP/IP, Stardraw Weblink can even give users access to browser-based control interfaces used by the latest generation of AV and networking equipment.

Subscription to the Stardraw Weblink program costs just $500 per brand per year and includes custom online administration tools for the management of Weblink data. Links can be added globally to entire ranges (for example, the manufacturers website homepage), or on a product by product basis (e.g. product marketing and technical documentation, or even suggested pricing). Stardraw can manage data entry for those manufacturers who do not wish to administer their own Weblinks.
