Around the House

Judge Judy, a.k.a. Judith Sheindlin, holds court with Katie Couric to talk about her life off-screen, and how she climbed her way to the top of the TV ladder. Plus, Kristin Chenoweth (Hit & Run) stops by for a musical performance.

Love and Monsters

When June (Dreama Walker) discovers that Chloe (Krysten Ritter) plays elaborate Halloween "tricks" every year, she becomes consumed with stopping her before she hurts someone she might actually care about. Meanwhile, due to his deep-rooted childhood fear of Halloween, James (James Van Der Beek) throws his annual Halloween "Positivity" Party.

Sex and Drugs

To save Nora (Daniella Alonso) from her injury, Miles (Billy Burke) leads the gang on a detour to visit an old acquaintance for medical support, but they quickly find themselves in unfriendly territory. Plus, Aaron (Zak Orth) recalls his pre-blackout life, and Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) delivers Danny (Graham Rogers) to Monroe (David Lyons).

Entertaining Special

Host Tracy Moore welcomes lifestyle expert Shoana Jensen, chef Randy Feltis and designer Shawn Gibson for tips on how to simplify weeknight entertaining. Feltis offers two quick dinner ideas that can be put together once guests have arrived, Jensen shares her list of must-haves for weeknight entertaining, and Gibson adds a little Halloween flavour with a candy dessert table.

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel (Jimmy Kimmel Live!) sits down with Couric for a catch-up chat. Plus, Jennie Garth stops by to talk about how she's starting over at age 40.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell Me What to Do

Burt (Garret Dillahunt) scouts out a gay bar when Jimmy (Lucas Neff) is invited to meet Sabrinas (Shannon Woodward) friend and his partner. Later, Virginia (Martha Plimpton) wonders why her husband starts spending so much time there and decides to find out for herself on Halloween.

Scaredy Kate

Kate (Dakota Johnson) gets invited to her hot neighbours Halloween party and calls on BJ (Lucy Punch) to help her become someone completely out-of-character for the night. Meanwhile, Ben (Nat Faxon) and Tommy (Echo Kellum) decide to stay home and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters in hopes that they will meet some hot moms, but the night takes a turn when Tommy unknowingly eats some of BJs "candy" from Amsterdam.

Halloween

Jess (Zooey Deschanel) gets hired to be a zombie at a haunted house. Meanwhile, romantic complications abound when Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Ceces (Hannah Simone) Halloween costumes match, but Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Shelbys (Kali Hawk) dont. Plus, Jess tries to sort out her changing feelings toward Sam (David Walton), and Nick gets a visit from an old college flame.

Halloween

Mindy (Mindy Kaling) frantically searches for the right Halloween costume to impress Josh (recurring Tommy Dewey, Step Up Revolution) when he invites her to a party. Meanwhile, Danny (Chris Messina) and Jeremy (Ed Weeks) take the test to finally get their drivers licenses. Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live) also guest stars.

Family Day

Host Tracy Moore and guest experts Jack Hourigan, Karine Ewart, Majorie Dixon, and Nanny Robina show off adorable costumes for the kids to trick or treat in and share ideas for spooky treats that the whole family can help make and enjoy.

Couric looks back at the year in miracles, both big and small, to inspire even the toughest skeptics with stories of triumph over tragedy.

Meanwhile, Dallas (Cheryl Hines) invites her life coach on her first date with George (Jeremy Sisto).

Yard Sale
