Tras su lanzamiento en Estados Unidos, donde goza del reconocimiento de cr tica y p blico, los contenidos de Viceland, el proyecto impulsado por el productor Eddy Moretti y por el oscarizado guionista y director Spike Jonze (Her, C mo ser John Malkovich...), llega ahora a Espa a.
El canal de documentales Odisea estrenar , en exclusiva, los aclamados contenidos de Viceland en una nueva franja de programaci n tras un acuerdo firmado entre AMC Networks International Iberia, la mayor productora de canales tem ticos de Espa a y Portugal, y Vice Media, l der mundial en creaci n de contenido para j venes.
De lunes a viernes desde las 22:30 horas, y partir de noviembre de 2017, el canal especializado en el g nero documental contar en exclusiva con contenido original de VICELAND. Odisea, disponible en m s de 6 millones de hogares en Espa a, contin a expandiendo su oferta y apostando por producciones arriesgadas y de calidad.
Desde su lanzamiento en febrero de 2016, la producci n propia de Viceland ha revolucionado el periodismo a nivel global, abarcando diversos temas como cultura, crimen, m sica, viajes, deportes, comida o tecnolog a.
Entre los estrenos que llegar n a Odisea se encuentran aclamados contenidos originales presentados por actores que han alcanzado la fama internacional, como Gaycation, producci n nominada a dos Premios Emmy y presentada por Ellen Page, en el que la situaci n de la comunidad LGTB alrededor del mundo es la protagonista, o Black Market, el programa m s personal del actor Michael K Williams en el que se adentra en el peligroso mundo del comercio ilegal.
Adem s, el canal tambi n emitir producciones de Viceland como F*ck, That's Delicious, el viaje gastron mico del rapero Action Bronson, o Vice World of Sports, en el que se analiza el mundo de la competici n desde una perspectiva diferente.
Una nueva visi n
El acuerdo con Viceland nos va a permitir crecer en una tipolog a de contenidos muy complementarios a Odisea, dotando de una nueva perspectiva al mundo del g nero documental con una de las marcas m s singulares que existen ahora mismo en el entorno de la televisi n. La suma de Odisea y Viceland va a permitir a las audiencias de Espa a y Portugal disfrutar de documentales enfocados desde una nueva visi n , se ala Eduardo Zulueta, presidente de AMC Networks International Iberia y Latin America.
