Presteigne Boosts End to End Projects Capability with Key Appointment of Mick Bass

Broadcast hire and projects specialists, Presteigne, have announced the appointment of Mick Bass, effective 1st December 2022, as the company's new Commercial Director - Project Solutions, a move which further enhances the senior team and cements the firm's ambitious plans for future growth in terms of Reality TV in particular.

As part of the senior management team, Bass will be working closely with the Projects team, the Hire team and with Presteigne's international partners in Paris and Hilversum.

He brings with him over thirty years' experience in the television and communications industry overseeing the delivery of world class live sporting and cultural events for blue chip broadcasters across the globe. As Commercial Director at NEP UK he contributed to significant growth via incremental revenue streams, by growing and nurturing a new client base of SME production companies.

His expertise in terms of end-to-end production capabilities includes leading the technical set up, from conception to delivery, on some of the biggest reality shows in the UK - the first four series of Love Island, Big Brother, and observational documentaries such as the BAFTA winning Educating series and 24 Hours in Police Custody.

This hire is the latest exciting development at Presteigne, following several years of substantial investment across its portfolio covering video, audio, RF and systems solutions. Presteigne operate from two bases in the UK: one near Gatwick Airport serving the South, and one in Warrington serving Manchester, Wales, the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
