Ken Coleman Selected to Lead ales Avionics Busine in New Jersey

Piscataway, NJ, May 8, 2013 Alan Pellegrini, President and CEO of Thales USA, Inc., and Daniel Malka, Vice President and General Manager of Thales Avionics Services Worldwide (ASW), have announced the appointment of Ken Coleman as Vice President and General Manager of Thales Avionics Services Worldwide, Americas, effective on April 29, 2013.

Ken brings a wealth of industry experience to his new position, said Alan Pellegrini, President and CEO of Thales USA, Inc. Through his leadership and direction, I am confident that our ASW business will continue its forward momentum, delivering on its business commitments while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Since 2009, Ken has led the Thales Components Corporation in Totowa, NJ as its Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Thales, he served with Antenna Research Associates as Vice President for Sales and Marketing and as General Manager for their facility in Pembroke, MA. Prior to that, he was also Vice President for Sales at Zentrix, a division of Brush Engineered Materials, where he was responsible for offices in the U.S., Asia and Europe.

Ken has over 25 years of experience as a sales management professional in the global marketplace for RF and Microwave applications. He has served as a consultant to Loral Terracom and has developed a number of sales training programs and strategies to meet customer and corporate needs. In addition, for the past eight years, Ken has been an adjunct facility member of the Franklin Pierce College School of Business in New Hampshire and has taught a wide range of courses in management, sales and marketing.

Ken earned a masters degree in accounting from New Hampshire College and a bachelor's degree in political science from East Stroudsburg University.
