Boyhood takes top film honours at the Golden Globes --

The 72nd Golden Globe Awards took place on 11 January 2015, honouring excellence in television and film. This year s ceremony was hosted by comedy heavyweights Amy Poehler and Tina Fey and saw Richard Linklaters 12-year film Boyhood winning Best Film, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress. In the TV categories, Amazon Studios Transparent, a comedy-drama series about a family who discovers their father is transgender, took the awards for Best Television Series and Best Actor.
