Now publicly available as a feature on select Wowza Streaming Cloud plans, the service reliably delivers audio and video streams at a global scale, with less than three seconds of end-to-end latency. Additionally, the Wowza GoCoder SDKis newly updated to support building iOS and Android applications with interactive video playback.

The key to enabling successful live-streaming business models today is through providing a high-level quality of service (QoS) from the start, says Melody Siefken, research analyst for the Digital Media group at Frost & Sullivan. Pricing and Availability The new Ultra Low Latency capabilities are available in select plans for the Wowza Streaming Cloud service. Starting at $49 a month, customers can create ultra low latency streams through API calls and playback using the Wowza Player.
