Ultra HD project

dB Broadcast has completed cutting edge work for an Ultra HD broadcast channel, which is still under wraps.

dB used its specialist knowledge of technologies available, and even some in development, to map out the project design, and complete its part of the work with its partners.

In some ways, this is typical of the projects dB is called on to deliver. Developments such as 4K and IP-driven systems require an understanding of the detailed operational and commercial needs of clients, achieved through partnerships and working closely with broadcasters and equipment manufacturers.

Jun 2015 dB Broadcast Lands Major Contract for International Criminal Court

Cambridgeshire, UK - dB Broadcast has won a major contract to create the Audio Visual broadcast system for the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

The Assembly of States Parties of the ICC decided that the ICC - a high profile independent organisation - should be provided with newly built permanent premises in The Hague and these are nearing completion.

Broadcast quality is a key criterion for the ICC, as the courts handle very high profile cases, and the ICC is called upon to provide broadcast feeds to many of the worlds largest international broadcasters. dB has a proven track record and expertise in remote controlled camera systems where high end broadcast quality video pictures are required.

Audio Visual recording of court proceedings is also a key issue for the ICC.

For this project, dB is able to draw upon extensive experience of working on prestigious buildings, new-build facilities and relocation, including its work at Parliament buildings, and the new BBC facility in central London, which involved relocation from the old BBC Television Centre to New Broadcasting House.
