The Alicante Film Festival presents the keys to its 18th edition in Madrid The Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematogr ficas de Espa a, ubicada en Madrid, ha acogido la presentaci n de la 18 edici n del Festival de Cine de Alicante (29/05-05/06). La presentaci n, enmarcada en los actos de FITUR, ha contado con la presencia de dos de las personalidades que ser n homenajeadas por el certamen este a o: Kiti M nver, que recibir el Premio de Honor durante el Festival; e Inma Cuesta, a la que se otorgar el Premio Ciudad de Alicante.
Ambas se sumar n a la tambi n reconocida Isabel Coixet en la gala inaugural, que acontecer el 29 de mayo en el ADDA de Alicante. Durante la semana, se proyectar n las ocho pel culas de la Secci n Oficial que compiten por el m ximo galard n, la Tesela from Oro. Llegar n acompa adas de 66 cortometrajes, Cine Social y del Mediterr neo, y pel culas invitadas.
Tres galardonadas En el acto de presentaci n, Mari Carmen S nchez, vicealcaldesa de Alicante, ha destacado que es la primera vez que las tres galardonadas son mujeres, algo que califica como un merecid simo homenaje al papel de la mujer en el cine espa ol .
Tanto Kiti M nver como Inma Cuesta se han mostrado muy agradecidas con la organizaci n del certamen y con la ciudad durante la impresi n. M nver, muy honrada por el reconocimiento, ha subrayado la diversidad de secciones en el festival y celebra que la cita pueda celebrarse por las penurias que est n pasando muchos compa eros y la propia profesi n . Cuesta, que asistir a la cita por primera vez, espera que este paso permita ir recuperando la ansiada normalidad para as poder recuperar la vida .
Una ciudad volcada Vicente Seva, director del festival, ha querido destacar en su intervenci n c mo Alicante se convertir en la m xima referencia de Espa a en materia cin fila durante la celebraci n del evento: Son unos d as en los que se respira cine y cultura por toda la ciudad, pero tambi n hay m sica y otras actividades que completan una programaci n para todos los p blicos y gustos .
En la presentaci n, tambi n han querido arropar al Festival de Cine de Alicante los actores Armando del R o Y Luis Miguel Segu ; las actrices Marta Belenguer Y Rebeca Sala; el cineasta Ram n Margareto (Premio Goya al mejor cortometraje documental 2011); el director de 75 d as, la pel cula inaugural del Festival que trata sobre los cr menes de Alc sser, Marc Romero; y el director de casting y miembro de jurado, Amado Cruz.
The Festival de Cine de Alicante cuenta con el apoyo de la Diputaci n Provincial de Alicante, el Ayuntamiento de Alicante, Alicante City & Beach, Casa Mediterr neo, el Instituto Valenciano de Cultura, Punt y otras empresas colaboradoras.
