The series Gallos, una coproducci n de Beta Spain con la colaboraci n de Red Bull, basada en una idea original de Eva Leira, Yolanda Serrano y Leticia Criado, ha sido elegida como una de las ficciones m s originales de la temporada en el mercado MIPTV. Fue una de las tres nicas ficciones espa olas seleccionadas por la consultora internacional The Wit junto con Parotof RTVE / Viacom International Studios and paradiseof Movistar+ / Mediapro.
Ambientada en el mundo de la competici n nacional e internacional freestyle Red Bull Batalla, Gallos cuenta la historia de la amistad inesperada, imposible, apasionante y pica de dos j venes de mundos muy diferentes. Uno es un chaval de buena familia, pero desestructurada, estudiante de m sica cl sica que est buscando su lugar en el mundo, pero se siente incapaz de encontrarlo. El otro es un chico de barrio, un MC, reconocido, generoso, admirado por todos en las Batallas. En ellas, muchos hablan, pocos riman. Solo los mejores improvisan. Y l es uno de ellos. Ambos encuentran en el freestyle un b lsamo terap utico que les va a unir y les va a hacer grandes, pero tambi n los separar y les llevar irremediablemente a un enfrentamiento sin soluci n. El rap les salv una vez.
La serie muestra un universo que alcanza los 500 millones de espectadores en el mundo, y un evento en el que las canciones son historias, son vidas. Los chavales que parecen duros no lo son tanto. Eva Leira y Yolanda Serrano ser n las directoras de casting
La ficci n comienza ahora su proceso de venta. Est producida por Beta Spain, filial de la alemana alemana Beta Film dirigida por Javier P rez de Silva and Christian Gockle, con la colaboraci n de Red Bull.
Por su parte, Red Bull son los creadores de la popular competici n internacional de Freestyle Red Bull Batalla. Por ltimo, en la producci n tambi n participan Eva Leira y Yolanda Serrano, que son las directoras de casting m s reputadas de nuestra ficci n (La casa de Papel, Elite, las pel culas de Almod var, Amen bar, Veneno, F sica o Qu mica ) y se une asimismo a la ficci n Carmen Carcel n, aportando toda la fuerza de su agencia de Management Carcel n Talent.
A la serie se suma tambi n El Ca onazo Transmedia, como expertos catalizadores y generadores de un proyecto global. Ha participado en la expansi n de series tan distintas como La Peste, La Zona, Vota Juan or La Caza. Tramuntana, destacadas con premios nacionales e internacionales como El Sol y The Drum.
