PTZOptics and Moondream to Demo Visual Reasoning for Live...

At NAB Show 2026, PTZOptics (Booth N1902) will showcase a live sports streaming demo created in collaboration with Moondream, offering a new look at how Visual Reasoning can automate live video production.

The demo centers on a soccer workflow that goes beyond conventional ball tracking. Using Moondream's lightweight vision language model, the system interprets the live video feed in real time to understand who has possession, when the ball changes control, and when key moments such as shots or goals happen. That reasoning layer then drives intelligent camera movement and automated production actions.

The result is a more context-aware approach to sports production, where cameras do more than follow motion. They respond to what is actually happening in the scene.
