Seasoned actors Gabriel Temudzani and Maumela Mahuwa - who've been playing husband and wife - Azwindini and Susan Mukwevho for nearly two decades in Muvhango are set to get married in life.

Sources from the SABC 2 soapie confirmed reports that the pair have been dating in real life.

GABRIEL TEMUDZANI AND MAUMELA MAHUWA FALL IN LOVE FOR REAL An article in the Daily Sun has reported that Muvhango actors Gabriel Temudzani and Maumela Mahuwa - who play Azwindini and Susan Mukwevho have fallen in love in real life and are set to get married.

Temudzani also confirmed the news that they're getting married and told the publication:

Yes, we are getting married in real life. I can't give out much as this is new to me.

Muvhango publicist - Thanduxolo Jindela told the People's Paper that the on-screen couple is dating in real life.

They are getting married this month and plans are underway.

The publication also stated that the soapie Muvhango will sponsor their high-end wedding with a popular celebrity wedding planner.

Jindela said this is going to be the wedding of the year.

The actress-singer told the paper to stop bothering her about her private life as she wouldn't divulge such information to the media when she was contacted for a comment.

Temudzani also shared the Daily Sun article on his Instagram story last night.

MUVHANGO': SUSAN AND AZWINDINI MUKWEVHO'S CURRENT STORYLINE Their characters are currently going through a stormy divorce and have fallen out of love after celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary in the soapie.

Viewers were elated this season after Azwindini filed for divorce and Susan signed the papers.

Azwindini who's been a chief for several years also married several women while he's still married to Susan and emotionally abused her.

The royal family also treated Susan like a doormat as she was too understanding and too forgiving.

Chief Azwi is set to marry his son's ex-girlfriend Gugu (Bukamina Cebekhulu) as soon as his divorce to Susan is finalised.

GETTING MARRIED AGAIN A 2020 Daily Sun article reported that Gabriel Temudzani and his wife Refiloe Temudzani filed for divorce after being married for seven years.

Refiloe and Gabriel got married in 2013 and officially separated two years ago in 2020.

The actor told the publication at the time that it is nobody's business that he and Refiloe are separated.

So, what is the issue when I am separated from my wife? That's none of your business. It's not a story that I'm separated from my wife.
