Las Vegas (April 22-27, 2017) - At the 2017 NAB Show (Exhibit Booth #C8319), Telemetrics will spotlight its new compact RCCP-M Clerk, a new entry-level broadcast control panel that allows non-technical users to start and stop live Legislative Chamber broadcasts of governmental proceedings in the most efficient way. The unique control panel can be configured to feature a different graphical room layout on the control panel screen for each specific Chamber room being covered with one or more cameras.

Serving as a cost-effective and easy to use solution for legislative automation, the RCCP-M- Clerk panel features a full color 10.4-inch touchscreen interface for full camera image controls and scene presets.

The RCCP-M-Clerk offers a simple, intuitive control panel for the production of legislative proceedings that increases productivity, reduces technical errors, and lowers operational costs, said Anthony Cuomo, President of Telemetrics. Known for the smoothest camera movements, silent operation, and precise positioning, the Telemetrics RCCP-M-Clerk features many of the same proven camera control features that Telemetrics has become known for in the broadcast industry.

The Clerk broadcast control panel provides all of the control tools required to enable or disable the various output signals when necessary, as well as allow visual monitoring of the final program output on the panel. Once an equipment layout has been established, it is pushed to the associated Clerk control panel, where the instructions are carried out by the system. It also provides the ability to store and save an unlimited number of shots and motion shots, including pan/tilt/zoom/elevator/trolley moves.

Within each of the Chamber rooms of a building, the Clerk panel is operational when the Telemetrics PTZ camera systems are taken out of STAND-BY mode at the start of each day. The STAND-BY mode control will only be carried out via the Telemetrics RCCP-1 by use of the TAKE and RE-CONFIRM touch buttons on the Clerk panel. This prevents accidental entry back to STAND-BY Mode. Each control room features a fully featured Telemetrics RCCP-1 control panel as well as a Clerk panel.

The RCCP-M-Clerk offers universal support for all major brands of studio cameras, as well as PTZ's from Telemetrics, Panasonic, Sony, and Canon, allowing users to mix and match different cameras for the same production. Other key features include: plug and play configuration with auto-sensing operation; a House Status Menu that displays still images with informational text display for accurate device control and error-free system configuration; an off-air visual indicator that alerts staff to start a broadcast; and a tally indicator to alert staff of on-air operation.
