El Financiero/Bloomberg TV is a Spanish-language business and financial news service, the only affiliate of Bloomberg Media Group in Latin America. When COVID-19 started to spread in Mexico, El Financiero /Bloomberg began exploring reliable solutions that would allow them to safely broadcast news and other programs directly from the anchor's residence.
El Financiero/Bloomberg TV had experience with TVU Networks' and its IP-based live video solutions having used the company's TVU One mobile cellular transmitter and TVU Grid switching, routing and distribution solution for several years. When they tested TVU Anywhere they were convinced that the solution delivered the broadcast quality feed they were looking for in a mobile phone, an equipment already owned by the anchor. The engineering team also loved the fact that TVU Anywhere was easy to install and set up using the token feature. The channel also realized that with TVU Anywhere they could have more reporters on the field, not only in Mexico but all over the world at a reasonable cost.
El Financiero/Bloomberg TV used TVU Anywhere/ TVU One to transmit the feed from the anchor's home to the TV station to produce the show and then transmit to the internet. This show was also recorded and transmitted later to the TV Channel. With the success of this virtual program, El Financiero/Bloomberg TV has plans to run many more virtual congress sessions on various topics during the COVID-19 related lockdowns.
El Financiero/Bloomberg TV has also been using TVU Anywhere for remote production, producing the full 45-minute program episodes with the lead channel anchors.

In addition, El Financiero plans to expand their correspondents to use TVU Anywhere from other countries where they have a presence. The channel has also launched a new musical TV show, where 3 musicians, each playing a different instrument will be transmitting audio and visuals using TVU Anywhere from the comfort of their homes to the TV Station.
