Dolby and Jaunt, empresa especializada en realidad virtual (RV) cinematogr fica, han puesto en marcha el primer portal dedicado a contenidos de RV, en el que figuran t tulos con tecnolog a de sonido Dolby Atmos para aumentar la sensaci n de realismo en el espectador dentro de la app Jaunt VR.
The Portal Dolby Atmos permitir a los espectadores acceder f cilmente a todas las experiencias de realidad virtual que integran Dolby Atmos disponibles en la app Jaunt VR. Para disfrutar de los t tulos de Dolby Atmos, los usuarios pueden descargarse la app Jaunt VR para iOS, Android, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, o HTC Vive y reproducirlos utilizando unos auriculares est reo. Algunos de los t tulos disponibles en el portal Dolby Atmos en el momento del lanzamiento son Paul McCartney: Live and Let Die, Jack White: Ball & Biscuit, Jack White: Freedom at 21, Revolt: Big Sean, la serie documental Pure McCartney VR, Black Mass, Rapid Fire: A Brief History of Flight, Earth Encounter, Collisions, la serie documental North Face, Zombie Purge, Time Bubble, Other Space, Visions of California y muchos m s.
Como parte del lanzamiento, Jaunt estrenar Mull of Kintyre en Dolby Atmos, el ltimo episodio de la serie documental de seis partes Pure McCartney VR. Mull of Kintyre transporta a los fans y espectadores al mundo de Paul McCartney mientras este relata sus momentos de inspiraci n y las historias que se esconden tras el xito de 1977 que lleva el mismo nombre. La canci n ha sido remasterizada digitalmente con Dolby Atmos por el ingeniero original, Geoff Emerick, creando un sonido que se orienta espacialmente y que incorpora un sistema de seguimiento de cabeza.
