IABM renews its Board of Directors The Spanish Esther tables, Tedial representing; Andreas Hilmer (Lawo), J rg Pohlman (ARRI); Kevin Usher (Avid); Nicki Fisher (Clear-Com), Muriel De Lathouwer (EVS), Alison Pavitt (Pebble Beach), Tim Felstead (SAM), Anna Lockwood (Telstra), and David MacGregor (TSL) are new additions to the highest organ of Government of the Association.
After the biennial election to positions on the Board directive of the International Association of manufacturers of the broadcast and media industry, the IABM It has incorporated new members to this entity for forty years sailing by the interests of the sector. The IABM Board is responsible for marking the strategy of the Association as well as review and mark their policies, as well as take financial control of the same.
The new addition to the Board of Directors of professionals of high level reflects the international projection of ROOTER. New ROOTER Board members are the Esther tables Spanish Tedial representing; Andreas Hilmer (Lawo), J rg Pohlman (ARRI), Kevin Usher (Avid), Nicki Fisher (Clear-Com), Muriel De Lathouwer (EVS), Alison Pavitt (Pebble Beach), Tim Felstead (SAM), Anna Lockwood (Telstra) and David MacGregor (TSL).
Complete the Board, its President James Gilbert de Pixel Power, the ex-President Jan Eveleens of Axon, Marco Lopez of Grass Valley Group, Glenn LeBrun Imagine Communications and Sonys Peter Sykes. In addition, the Presidents of the IABM regional councils of North America and APAC - Elevate Broadcast Dennis Breckenridge and CueScript Michael Accardi respectively - will also have a seat on the governing body. seats on the Board. Andreas Hilmer, Lawo, Andreas Hilmer, recognizes that it is willing to contribute to ROOTER. "After the analog and digital base-band, our industry is migrating to its third-generation infrastructure. This includes not only IP technology but also the defined processing by software, the orchestration and control network resources seamlessly, as well as workflows automated intelligent. We just call it Broadcast 3.0, and ROOTER is set to lead both to manufacturers and broadcasters through these difficult times".
For his part, Esther tables, Tedial, emphasizes that "the broadcasting industry has undergone a major transformation and now we are living in historic times. Internet has exploded on the scene, assuming a fundamental change throughout the broadcast chain, from the consumer to the manufacturer and suppliers. Also change consumption habits, this transformation affects the way in which the content is provided. This change has been reflected in the broadcast technology and the traditional business model, defying all the companies that are part of the content supply chain.
