Pilgrim Hospital Recognise Fujifilm's Exceptional Service During Pandemic and Brexit

Fujifilm has recently installed the first of their new look FDR Visionary Suite digital room solutions in the UK at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is already very familiar with Fujifilm's digital x-ray solutions and services, with the radiology department boasting three original FDR Visionary Suite digital x-ray rooms, three room retrofits, two FDR nano mobile x-ray units, two FDR Go mobile x-ray systems and a ceph x-ray system for dental patients.

The service and sales support from Fujifilm has been exceptional and has not faltered even during the pandemic and Brexit issues that have affected some suppliers said Mark Dorn, Modality Lead Radiographer Interventional and General X-Ray at United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust (ULHT). The equipment has been incredibly reliable; it has coped tremendously well through the surges in demand to deliver services at the highest level. With Fujifilm we have great local engineering support backed up by a UK based company which has not lost its customer focus. Our experience of Fujifilm has been one of working with an imaging partner who is responsive to our needs, and flexible in their approach to providing an excellent service.

When selecting the FDR Visionary Suite digital x-ray room we found it met all our service's requirements with the multi-functionality of a modern system. We have found the doses are very low, especially when using the Fujifilm Virtual Grid software, and the system is very user friendly, simple to operate and easy to clean. It provides quality diagnostic images and has proved to be very efficient at improving our workflow.

The new look FDR Visionary Suite digital x-ray room is just the beginning of a number of new innovations coming for this popular and reliable system in the next few months said Adam Chapman, Product Manager, Modalities at Fujifilm. Along with the smart updated livery, the system will also feature new power assist movements and updated digital detector configurations to meet the clinical needs of our customers.
