New strategic partnership to drive continued momentum in APAC region
MONTREAL, CANADA - November 8, 2017 - Haivision, a market leader in enterprise video and streaming solutions, announces continued momentum in Asia with a new strategic partnership with Rikei Corporation in Japan.
Rikei Corporation is known for providing solutions for encoding, managing and distributing video content, making Haivision a perfect addition to their portfolio. Rikei, a recognized solution provider and system integrator, will now provide Haivision video solutions to enterprise and broadcast markets throughout Japan, including its award-winning, high performance encoders and decoders, and media management solutions for IPTV, corporate webcasting and performance recording. Rikei will now be able to offer their enterprise and broadcast customers an end-to-end solution for streaming high quality, low latency video in a cost-effective way. Makito X H.264/HEVC encoder/decoder transports secure, low latency, HD video over any network at extremely low bitrates using SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) technology, making it ideal for live, interactive and bandwidth constrained applications such as remote interviews, production reviews, news gathering and remote contribution.
KB Series H.264/HEVC up to 4K encoders/transcoders are ideal for live event streaming to global internet audiences, offering optimized bandwidth usage without sacrificing a high-quality viewing experience.
