Cerberus Tech Ltd has confirmed the renewal of a 3-year deal with TJC (The Jewellery Channel), to provide IP delivery services for its 24/7/365 shopping channel. The Cerberus Tech solution, Network 1, provides TJC with a fully managed IP service, that is broadcast grade, low latency, multi-cloud compatible and protocol agnostic.
TJC is a British home shopping channel and online retailer specialising in jewellery, home, beauty, fashion, gemstones and other lifestyle accessories. It is one of the main TV shopping channels in the UK. Launched on 4th April 2006, its TV Shopping Network now broadcasts to over 30 million homes across the UK and Republic of Ireland. Its ethos is to deliver joy to customers through different sales platforms, by listening to its audience and providing them with exactly what they ask for as its reputation continues to grow. TJC sells with a smile through its TV channels, website, mobile and tablet app.
Cerberus Tech's ongoing commitment to TJC, ensures that its live linear content service meets Virgin Media's live IP ingest specifications. Network 1 delivers directly to the Virgin Media platform using established IP connectivity at Virgin Media's main site in Langley, and its back-up facility in Knowsley. By utilising a cloud-based approach, TJC keeps flexibility at the core of its delivery whilst maintaining the highest quality broadcast feeds.
