SOMMER CABLE presents the new TRANSIT MC 0 HD allround cable

SOMMER CABLE presents the new TRANSIT MC 1031 HD allround cable posted: 28/06/2016

All good things come in threes: hybrid cable combines HD picture, power supply and network

The specialists from SOMMER CABLE, the leading supplier of professional cable and connection technology in the audio & video sector, are presenting their latest trick: a hybrid cable for use at professional events, in the broadcasting van or installation technology including e.g. dome camera systems. The highlight: the new TRANSIT MC 1031 transmits HD video picture together with power and network signals.

We attach great importance to the flexibility and ruggedness at bending, reeling or under severe tensile strain. In the TRANSIT MC 1031 we therefore rely on a double-shielded video cable, a sturdy CAT.7 cable and a 3 x 2.5 mm power line in a flame-retardant PVC jacket.

Whether heat or cold - our new hybrid cable allows trouble-free transmissions beyond 100 meters [330 ft.] , explains a convinced Pascal Miguet, Product & Sales Manager at SOMMER CABLE.

The integrated 10 Gbit capable network, power and HD-SDI compliant video transmission in one compact cable also enables customers to do without laying several cables. The TRANSIT MC 1031 is available as of now in individual lengths.
