Talented actress Xolile Tshabalala has confirmed her prosecutor role in SABC1's soapie, Skeem Saam.

XOLILE TSHABALALA: I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT The former Generations: The Legacy actress Xolile Tshabalala took to her Instagram account on Friday, 27 October to reveal her latest role in Skeem Saam.

Rumour has it I will be on Skeem Sami soon. Hope you enjoy it. Like my afro I rise. Proudly self, proudly African that is all I can be. Vuma dlozi lami, said the actress.

Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela announced on Thursday, 26 October that the legendary actress Xolile Tshabalala has made her debut as a prosecutor in the soapie.

Tshabalala's character is a prosecutor in Leeto Maputla's (Eric Macheru) trial for the murder of Turfloop's loan shark, Dragon (Julius wa Kgole).

The prosecutor is determined to put him behind bars and will try to convince the court that Leeto should be sentenced to prison for the murder.

The actress is popularly known for playing Julia Motene in Generations, Nwabisa Bhele in Netflix's Blood and Water seasons one to three, Senamile in SABC2 soapie Muvhango and e.tv's canned soapie Rhythm City as Stella.

-- SKEEM SAAM': LEETO STORYLINE Sunday World reports that the thespian Xolile Tshabalala will make her debut on Skeem Saam on Monday, 30 October and will be on the show throughout Leeto Maputla's trial.

Eric Macheru's character, Leeto will be represented by Advocate Moss and will try to rally credible witnesses as his trial approaches as his freedom hangs in the balance.

The TVSA Skeem Saam November teasers also report that more shocking information will be revealed about Dragon in Leeto's trial.

The teasers also reveal Leeto might cheat on his girlfriend, Joy (Zinhle Mazibuko) with Bontle (Kea Leburu). Melita (Hellen Motsuki) and Mr Kgomo (Lebogang Oliphant) will take the stand for him.
