Argosy Makes Debut at NAT EXPO 2013 with a Selection of Broadcast Infrastructure Products 14 Oct 2013
Argosy, a leading international supplier of HD broadcast cables and studio infrastructure products, will demonstrate a range of infrastructure solutions when it makes its debuts at NAT EXPO 2013 next month (at the Crocus Expo, Pavilion 2, hall # 8, Moscow, Russia, 19-21 November 2013).
On show will be the Argosy IMAGE cables and Belden cables, a range of Neutrik opticalCON Advanced tactical fibre assemblies as well as the first showing in Russia of a simple but effective award-winning Fibre Optic Cleaning Tool set.
We are delighted to be at NAT EXPO this year as it gives us the opportunity to showcase some of our broadcast infrastructure products to the Russian broadcast community for the first time, said Chris Smeeton, sales director at Argosy. The broadcast market in Russia is very active and we are looking to appoint key distributors and resellers across this territory and being at NAT EXPO will give us a great platform to make those connections.
Visitors to the show will see Argosy display its most popular range of IMAGE HD video cables. Surpassing the requirements of SMPTE 424M (1080p/60), the IMAGE range is widely used in worldwide HD installations and has one of the most enviable track records in the industry. IMAGE cables are designed to maximise operational bandwidth while offering the lowest possible return and attenuation loss. With its highly-regarded international reputation among engineers and systems designers alike, IMAGE cables combine superb quality, reliability and durability with consistent high performance that is perfect for all types of installations however large or small.
Argosy will also showcase a small range of Belden cables including the 1855ENH, 1505ENH and the 1694ANH HD digital video cables. Designed specifically to meet the needs of broadcasters and the professional audiovisual communities, Belden cables also offer superb performance and reliability together with absolute signal integrity.
For those considering installing some fibre connectivity there will be advice on low-cost methods of fitting connectors to cables and the chance to try the unique fibre cleaning tool which ensures reliable transmission.
Designed to clean SMPTE and traditional telco fibre optic connectors on cables and those located in panel adaptors, this tool uses a dry cleaning strand that wipes and lifts any dirt or residue away without the need for solvents. Perfect for an engineer's toolkit, this easy to use device allows a full clean to be performed in one extremely simple operation where an audible clink indicates the process has been completed. Each tool offers a minimum of 525 cleans.
Visitors will have a chance to see the Neutrik OpticalCON Advanced fibre assemblies which offer an easily deployable end-to-end solution with rugged outer-jackets for harsh environments making it an ideal solution for live event broadcast applications.
Additionally Argosy will demonstrate a variety of its other HD and fibre optic products as well as a variety of video accessories.
