Prepping for IBC 2025: Three Conversations We Cant Wait to Have

Its that time of year again IBC has crept up on us and will be here in just a matter of weeks! We at Cinnafilm have been hard at work and cant wait to share some exciting new developments with you:

First AI will undoubtedly be the hot topic of IBC, and its capabilities can be truly wondrous, but its also a minefield. Our entire industry is still getting to grips with issues such as intellectual property rights, hallucination, and bias in AI systems. We are delighted to have partnered with our friends at Nvidia to bring you a professional grade AI super resolution solution that you can trust. Combining Cinnafilms world class knowledge of image processing for video with Nvidia AI know-how, we are now able to offer you a solution that is free from any concerns around intellectual property and unpredictable hallucinations, while providing stellar results.

AI may be the current hot topic, but there are still many other things that, while theyre not nearly so sexy, are critical to getting work done in a timely and cost-effective manner .like transcoding. Cinnafilms PixelStrings Platform is rightly known throughout the industry as the go-to solution for premium quality video transformation workflows but for workflows that dont require our magical image processing capabilities, frankly, it seems quite expensive. We are thrilled to introduce you to new low-cost transcoding capabilities within the PixelStrings platform. By the time IBC is here, well be able to offer much lower pricing for workflows that dont require expensive GPU image processing, both in our SaaS platform, and in our licensed software solutions.

Last, but not least, well be showing off our new Live conversion products. Our IPx LIVE and Tachyon LIVE products are flexible software solutions for converting IP video streams that can be deployed on the ground or in the cloud. IPx LIVE allows frictionless conversion between different IP video formats, while Tachyon LIVE provides conversion of the underlying video stream at a quality level that would previously only have been available from a dedicated hardware device (and at a fraction of the cost).
