Following the vibrant success of the first edition of SPORTEL Rendez-Vous held in Miami in March, SPORTEL is expanding its Rendez-Vous series, adding another event to its calendar for the global sports-business industry in the first quarter of 2023.
To open the new year, SPORTEL is introducing a new destination. After a four-year absence, the event producer will be back in Asia, giving the SPORTEL community the opportunity to reconnect with the Asian market by bringing the business onsite.
For the first time ever, SPORTEL will host an event in Bali: the popular location is easily accessible via direct flights from Jakarta, Melbourne, Singapore, Dubai, Istanbul, and many other big cities around the world.
SPORTEL Rendez-Vous Bali is scheduled for Feb. 23-24, 2023, at the 600-room Grand Hyatt Bali Hotel. The Welcome Party for all registered participants will be held at the hotel at sunset on Feb. 22.
This new initiative is organized in partnership with Transvision, a pay-TV company under the media arm of CT Corpora - the biggest media conglomerate in Indonesia and owner of TransTV, Trans7, CNN Indonesia, and CNBC Indonesia - and in cooperation with Java Festival Production, an organization well-known for its annual international music festival, the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival.
In May 2023, SPORTEL Rendez-Vous will return to the U.S. at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay, which has undergone a major $50 million transformation. SPORTEL management opted for strategic dates to offer the best hotel rates to its participants: intended to follow the 2023 F1 Miami Grand Prix, SPORTEL Rendez-Vous Miami is scheduled for May 9-10, 2023.
With these two events abroad, one in Asia and one in North America, says SPORTEL CEO Laurent Puons, SPORTEL confirms that we are always staying ahead of the game and that we continue to develop business opportunities to best meet our clients' needs. Our strategy and approach today are very clear. SPORTEL Monaco remains the main flagship event that reunites all SPORTEL's community, and the SPORTEL Rendez-Vous series provides additional opportunities to do business internationally, in different markets and continents, all throughout the year, in a smaller, more intimate and affordable format.
SPORTEL Rendez-Vous, the overseas streamlined two-day market series, features best-value products, with cost-effective attendee passes (from $550 / 490) and exhibiting opportunities as well as special discounted hotel-room rates, to guarantee a better ROI. Complemented by an innovative conference summit, the events offer a wide range of sponsorship and networking-event opportunities, as well as many extracurricular activities to extend the SPORTEL experience.
