Barco and CNC celebrate 15-year partnership in Korea and take to the road Marking their 15-year partnership in Korea, Barco and CNC will join hands and showcase their products and expertise at Korea's 75th Congress of Radiology September 18-21, 2019.
Kortrijk and Seoul, Sep 16, 2019 - Over the past 15 years, a great number of things have progressed in the world of radiology and the meeting experience business. The partnership between Barco and CNC has built on these changes and become even more solid as time went by.
The strategic partnership kicked off in 2004. At the time, CNC served as an Authorized Service Partner for Barco in Korea. In effect, CNC provided local services to customers of Barco's healthcare products. These included medical displays installation and warranty services, on-site maintenance and display quality control. Given the success of the partnership, CNC became Barco's distributor for Healthcare solutions in 2013, and further broadened the offer to the fast-developing Meeting Experience market in 2016.
Meeting the changes in healthcare
During this time, CNC was aware of the trends that were shaping healthcare technologies. Users moved from CRT to LCD and from Dual heads to Fusion displays, for example. Barco continued to move with the times and provide best-of-class solutions to medical professionals, including the first Mammography, Fusion and multimodality displays. CNC introduced these innovations to Korea, along with the services to ensure users get the full potential from their investments.
