Creative studio Heresy's NY-based director Rob Gilbert uncovers the vitality and masculine sophistication of New York City fashion through the eyes of seven notable men's fashion designers as they discuss how the urban center has influenced their designs in the new :30 New York Is for New York Fashion Week: Men's, presented by Amazon's fashion site and launched by The Council of Fashion Designers of America. The spot features such revered designers as John Varvatos, Richard Chai, Robert Geller and Todd Snyder.

For the first ever New York Fashion Week focused entirely on men's fashion, Gilbert implored designers on why New York is such a fitting destination for such an event. The designers cite the legendary fashion core's electricity, pulse, lack of established style rules, individuality and even its griminess as fuel for their passion of New York City fashion. Todd Snyder even goes as far as to say that Being in fashion, it's the only place to be.
The spot was produced by New York/Los Angeles-based production company/creative agency hybrid Hudson Media. New York Fashion Week: Men's is taking place July 13-16, 2015.
