VariCam 35

The new VariCam 35 4 K incorporates a new super 35 mm MOS image sensor and the family of AVC-ULTRA video codecs. The innovative design of the VariCam 35 includes the camera 4 K (AU-V35C1) and the module recorder (AU-VREC1), which also can be exchanged with the new Panasonic camera (AU-V23HS1) 2/3 type module. It allows professionals to switch between camera-heads of 35 mm and 2/3 type to better accommodate your creative needs.

The VariCam 35 uses a new MOS sensor of super 35 mm for Panasonic to capture 4K images with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 (17:9). The camera, combined with the AVC-ULTRA codecs for 4K, offers a few very manageable and practical production 4K files sizes. The new camera allows incredible 14 stops of latitude and faithfully captures images of high contrast and dynamic range without sacrificing quality. Powerful color management functionality provides a chromatic range of large amplitude, which ensures pictures with impeccable fidelity and facilitates the flow of ACES (Academy Colour Encoding System) work for maximum faithfulness of the material mastering original source.

The highest level production functions, include the high frame rate in real-time, recording 4K speed of 120 fps, which demonstrates the ability to record in 2 K/FHD level master, and a few advanced recording 4K workflows / UHD simultaneously in parallel, 2 K/HD reference and recordings proxy for color grading integrated in the camera as well as control and on-site supervision. The camera also features a new electronic viewfinder (EVF) OLED with optical zoom. Finally, added 24-bit LPCM audio to allow the integrated master of audio recording.

The VariCam 35 offers a variety unprecedented recording formats, including 4K UHD AVC-Ultra 4K and 2K and DHF in AVC-Intra 100/200. To respond to the need for Exchange of files at high speed, the camera encodes proxy files in parallel with production 4K and 2K formats, which allows a fast and efficient offline editing. It also includes support for ProRes 4444 and ProRes 422 HQ of Apple for HD recording.

The VariCam 35 will use the new Panasonic expressP2 card to record with high frame rate and 4K. The camera is equipped with four slots for memory cards in total, two for expressP2 cards and two cards microP2.

DVX-200

The 4 K AG-DVX200 camcorder will enable any professional work in 4 k. heiress of the AG-DVX100 new 200 will be the first resolution 4 K/50 p, 4/3 format with integrated zoom lens.

The new DVX200 camera offers stunning images thanks to the powerful objective LEICA DICOMAR 4 K of 13 increases, combined with a 4 K of large format sensor and a set of aesthetic functions, as reducing depth of field, attractive Bokeh and an incredible dynamic range of 12 steps, thanks to the adoption of differentiated VariCam L curve.
