Sky Mobile boosts data plans with new 10GB tariff and gives customers more data at no extra cost

Sky Mobile is changing its data plans and launching a new 10GB plan. From Friday 15 September, customers will be able to take advantage of the brand new 10GB plan for £20 a month, or Skys 5GB plan at the reduced price of £15 a month (down from £20).

The new plan and prices will be available on all phones with Sky Mobiles Swap24 and Swap12, including newly launched devices, as well as SIM only contracts. The changes and increased data plans are designed to give Sky Mobile customers more data at no extra cost.

Both new and existing customers will be able to choose the new plans from 15 September, with customers on existing £15 (3GB) or £20-per-month (5GB) plans able to easily change their Mix to the amount of data thats right for them.

Liz Wynn, Skys Director of Mobile, said: We launched Sky Mobile to offer more flexibility and great value and thats exactly what were doing by introducing our new data plan. 10GB is ideal for people who want to use their phone to do it all from streaming, browsing and watching to gaming. September is an important month for our customers who want to get their hands on the latest phones, and were excited to now give them even more choice and value.

The new plans will retain all the benefits of Sky Mobile; Roll, Mix, Save, Sync and Swap. With Roll, each month any unused data is automatically rolled over into a Sky Piggybank and saved for up to three years, for customers to dip into whenever they like.

Customers can also choose to change their plan whenever they like with Mix meaning if they need more or less data they can change their Mix and switch between Unlimited and PAYU Calls and Texts. With Sky Mobiles Save, Sky TV customers benefit from free Unlimited Calls and Texts.

With Sync, Sky TV customers can sync Sky+ recordings with their phone to create their own personal playlist to watch wherever they are.

The new plan and prices will be available on both Swap24 and Swap12. Swap12 allows customers to get the latest model every year, while Swap24 offers Sky Mobiles lowest monthly price on bestselling phones from Apple, Samsung and Sony.
