Fox Sports took home nine awards at the 2016 PromaxBDA Promotion, Marketing, and Design Awards, presented earlier this month in New York. Among its total, Fox Sports earned six accolades, including three golds, for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.
These awards are a testament to the hard work and creativity of our entire team, said Fox Sports Executive Vice President, Marketing, Robert Gottlieb. I'm incredibly proud of what they've accomplished throughout the year and of the work they continue to produce every day.
Fox Sports earned two gold honors for its promotional spot, History of the World Cup, in the categories of On-Air Illustration and Art Direction & Design: Long Form/Webisode or Viral Video. The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup on Fox also earned gold in the category of Overall Integrated Sports Marketing Campaign, silvers for Promotional Viral/Web/Mobile Content ( Mother's Day Stunt ) and Live Event Spot ( It's Not Over ), and bronze for Art Direction & Design: Sports Program Campaign.
The network also claimed a pair of accolades for the 2015 U.S. Open, winning silver in the category of Clip Based Sports Program Spot for Anthem and bronze in Art Direction & Design: Sports Program Spot for FLAG. FOX Sports also won bronze in Art Direction & Design for THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 22's Coaches.
