Der Schaeffler-Standort Steinhagen schafft immer mehr Platz f r junge Leute - und bietet ihnen zudem beste Perspektiven. Nicht nur hat das Werk im Jahr 2015 die Zahl seiner Ausbildungspl tze von einst f nf auf nunmehr zehn verdoppelt, es zeigt sich auch offen gegen ber ungew hnlichen Ideen: So konnte eine Auszubildende vor kurzem erstmals ein Praktikum im Ausland absolvieren.
Julia Kirchhoff befindet sich im ersten Ausbildungsjahr zur Industriekauffrau. Ihr gelang, was man sonst nur von Studenten kennt: Im Fr hjahr 2015 verbrachte sie knapp einen Monat im Ausland. Zuvor hatte sich die 24-J hrige erfolgreich f r ein Berufsbildungsprogramm der Europ ischen Union beworben und konnte so mit zus tzlicher finanzieller Unterst tzung f r ihr Abenteuer rechnen. Die Personalverantwortlichen in Steinhagen begr ten die bemerkenswerte Eigeninitiative der Auszubildenden, setzten sich f r ihr Vorhaben ein und konnten ihr schlie lich ein Praktikum am Schaeffler-Standort Plymouth in England erm glichen.
F r Julia Kirchhoff war ihr Aufenthalt in der englischen Hafenstadt ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Ich habe viele nette Leute, hilfsbereite Kollegen und ein neues Land kennengelernt, mir dort selbstst ndig einen Alltag aufgebaut und nat rlich mein Englisch verbessert. Ein Praktikum im Ausland ist eine Herausforderung, aber gerade deswegen w rde ich es jedem empfehlen , erz hlt die angehende Industriekauffrau. Auch Sara Meyer, Ausbildungsleiterin in Steinhagen, bef rwortet Pl ne dieser Art: Wir wollen unsere Auszubildenden f rdern und ihnen solche Erfahrungen erm glichen. Wenn jemand die Initiative ergreift, sind wir f r alles offen und unterst tzen, wo wir k nnen.
Insgesamt zehn Ausbildungspl tze bietet Schaeffler seit diesem Jahr in Steinhagen an. Zur Wahl stehen die Berufsbilder Industriekaufmann/-frau, Fachkraft f r Lagerlogistik, Werkzeugmechaniker/in, Industriemechaniker/in und Zerspanungsmechaniker/in. Nach Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung k nnen die Nachwuchsfachkr fte dabei in der Regel damit rechnen, bernommen zu werden und eine Stelle am Standort zu bekommen.
