Broadcast and Studio Exec Darcy Antonellis Named CEO of Vibiquity

Vubiquity, a global provider of multiplatform video services that works closely with both content owners and service providers to meet consumers' evolving demands for anytime, anywhere access, has appointed Darcy Antonellis Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 2, 2014. Antonellis will also become a member of the Board of Directors.

Antonellis is an industry veteran with experience in broadcast television, production and distribution at companies including FOX Television and CBS. She is the recipient of three Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - two of which were for technical production of the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympic Games. Ms. Antonellis is currently President, Technical Operations and Chief Technology Officer at Warner Bros. Entertainment where she is responsible for solving technology challenges and enabling new technology-based businesses across the Studio. She has an established record of developing and deploying innovative new products to support both consumer and B2B needs.

Darcy brings to Vubiquity a proven record of identifying opportunities and driving growth by leveraging the disruptive nature of technology. As a visionary leader with deep understanding of the media industry, she is a great choice to lead Vubiquity into its next stage of growth, to meet the needs of our customers, employees and investors, says Phil Herget, chairman of Vubiquity's Board of Directors and partner at Columbia Capital.

Antonellis replaces Ramu Potarazu, who stepped down as CEO in March and currently serves as Vice Chairman of Vubiquity's Board of Directors.
