Kyivstar wins Ukraine G license

Amsterdam (February 25, 2015) - VimpelCom Ltd. ( VimpelCom , Company or Group ) (NASDAQ: VIP) announces that Kyivstar, its wholly owned and market leading subsidiary in Ukraine, has been awarded one of three licenses to provide nationwide 3G services in the 2100 Mhz band for a price of UAH 2.7 billion ( USD 100million).
