Odeon Cinemas launches 4K advanced multiplex of Spain The complex located at the Mall Sambil Outlet (Madrid) will feature projection laser RGB Christie, Christie Live Audio and sound Dolby Atmos.

The Spanish display Odeon Cinemas chain installed projectors Christie Solarias 4K resolution (including projectors RGB laser film) and sound systems Christie Live Audio in the twelve rooms of the new multiplex Mall Sambil Outlet in Madrid.

Adil Zerouali, director for Europe of Christie film, says that "this complex will thus become in the most advanced in Spain and the first in the country that will be fully equipped with Christie Live Audio and" Dolby Atmos.

The operation will take place through Ingevideo and cinema equipment, companies that will supply and install all equipment. The new Sambil Outlet complex, located in the old Center shopping M-40 Madrid ring road, will have a capacity of 2,400 seats. The halls will occupy an area of 4,500 square meters on the second floor of the shopping precinct.

Two of the rooms of the multiplex will be equipped with projector laser 3DLP 4 K RGB Christie Solaria CP42LH in 3 p configuration with a single head of projection. Leaning on Christie Freedom laser lighting rig, the CP42LH produces a spectrum of color that goes beyond the DCI P3 color space and even the Rec. 2020.

In the rest of the rooms will be installed several 4K projectors lamp xenon the Christie Solaria series, including model Christie CP4220. The projectors will be prepared for 3D with passive system and will use a combination of media integrated blocks (IMBs) Christie and Dolby.

Christie Vive Audio

12 rooms will be management of Atmos Dolby sound system and speakers and amplifiers Christie Live Audio, which will make to Odeon Cinemas Sambil Outlet in the only multiplex in Spain and the second in Europe with 100 percent of its screens equipped with these two technologies of immersive sound. Amplifier class D, line array, subwoofers, surround sound speaker speakers and Christie lives Audio ceiling speakers will be used to enhance Dolby Atmos DCI capabilities and that each seat has the best sound.
