La America's Cup Race vive unos momentos de m xima tensi n con una dura batalla entre el equipo estadounidense del Oracle y el neozeland s del Emirates. Para facilitar la cobertura de esta colosal carrera entre San Francisco (California) y Auckland (Nueva Zelanda) la organizaci n ha desplegado un enlace de v deo v a IP de ADTEC.
John West, vicepresidente ejecutivo eventos deportivos en TVNZ (broadcaster de la carrera), ha destacado que hemos estado evaluando el codificador y decodificador EN-91P y RD-60 quedando de manifiesto que estos productos podr an ayudarnos en el Stream de vuelta a Nueva Zelanda. Durante la Louis Vuitton Cup fue evidente los problemas de cobertura de los sat lites y sin acceso a fibra, en esta ocasi n hemos optado por la conectividad IP que proporciona Adtec, como una opci n muy atractiva. Antes del evento, Adtec inici pruebas de streaming entre Londres y San Diego quedando patente la calidad y fiabilidad que ha demostrado este concepto .
El codificador Adtec se ha configurado para una corriente 5Mbp/s, trabajando con se ales de v deo SD 625i 50 con codificaci n de color 4.2.0 y dos canales de audio est reo. Los equipos de Adtec se est n utilizando ampliamente para enviar im genes para los res menes que TVNZ lleva a cabo en Nueva Zelanda.
