Mr. Robot Season streams July 4 Expre from the US and first in Australia on Presto

The highly-anticipated second season of Golden Globe Award-winning drama from Universal Cable Productions, Mr. Robot, arrives first on Presto on July 14, Express from the US, launching with a double episode. The news follows USA Network's recent announcement that the second season order has been upped from 10 episodes to 12 episodes, all of which will be directed by creator and executive producer, Sam Esmail.

Mr. Robot follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who becomes involved in the underground hacker group fsociety, after being recruited by their mysterious leader (Christian Slater). Airing the same day as U.S. broadcast, the July 14 episodes titled eps2.0_unm4sk-pt1.tc and eps2.0_unm4sk-pt2.tc, will pick up 30 days after the now infamous fsociety 5/9 hack on multi-national company Evil Corp. Season 2 will explore the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.

Mr. Robot stars Golden Globe Award and SAG Award nominee Rami Malek (The Pacific), Golden Globe Award winner Christian Slater (Nymphomaniac), Portia Doubleday (Her), Carly Chaikin (Suburgatory), Martin Wallstr m (Simple Simon), Grace Gummer (The Newsroom), Michael Cristofer (Ray Donovan) and Stephanie Corneliussen (Legends of Tomorrow). New recurring guest stars include Craig Robinson (The Office), hip hop artist Joey Bada$$, Sandrine Holt (Fear the Walking Dead), Michael Maize (National Treasure: Book of Secrets), Dorothi Fox (Run All Night) and Luke Robertson (The Americans). Returning cast members include BD Wong (Law & Order: SVU), Gloria Reuben (Saints & Sinners), Michael Drayer (Vinyl), Michel Gill (House of Cards), Ron Cephas Jones (The Blacklist), Sunita Mani (5 Stages), Azhar Khan (Veep) and Ben Rappaport (The Good Wife).
