The Vantage platform is based on a flexible service-oriented architecture that is made up of discrete services and connectors that combine to create powerful automated workflows all under unified system control. Vantage a business focused media processing software platform
Vantage Transcode IPTV VOD maximizes bandwidth efficiency by providing H.264 encoding using the x264 codec. x264 has been shown to reduce bit rates by up to 50 percent while increasing quality. This enables IPTV providers to offer a better viewer experience while simultaneously lowering transmission costs. The product also provides sophisticated control over Transport Stream video, audio, and metadata by integrating best-in-class Manzanita Systems multiplexing technology. Full integration of Telestream Lightspeed technology offers the highest possible encoding speeds with GPU acceleration.
Vantage Transcode Multiscreen is a complete video encoding, packaging and workflow automation solution for OTT multiscreen, web and mobile delivery that includes x264/H.264 and x265/HEVC encoding to provide pristine image quality and compelling bandwidth efficiency. Vantage Transcode Multiscreen addresses the unique requirements of adaptive bitrate (ABR) production and packaging by automating the entire process of source file decoding, video image processing, parallelized encoding, packaging, encryption, and archiving. Running on Telestream's Lightspeed Server, Vantage Transcode Multiscreen enables blazing-fast video processing and acceleration across multiple GPUs and CPU cores.
Built on the Vantage platform and recently launched at NAB, VOD Producer simplifies and automates the complex tasks of preparing and assembling CableLabs-compliant VOD content for cable operators and production networks of any size. Featuring an easy-to-use graphical interface, VOD Producer assembles branded, edited compositions from off-air captures, clean feeds or NLE sources and interfaces with any Telestream software encoder to produce cable, OTT, mobile and broadband output.
Telestream products are used by broadcast, cable and broadband providers throughout EMEA to streamline operations, reach broader audiences and generate more revenue from their media. In 2014 ITV selected Telestream for its content delivery modernization project to achieve time and cost efficiencies across the business and exploit its content across multiple delivery platforms. In 2013 Canal+ selected Telestream Vantage to meet an aggressive timescale for its mutli-platform strategy and to automate its VOD catch-up service.
