After Effects CC Update, Including Updated CINEWARE, Now Available

Working with MAXON CINEMA 4D is now even more comfortable with the new Adobe After Effects CC update 12.1

Since the introduction of the Adobe Creative Cloud, CINEWARE lets After Effects users benefit from an even tighter integration of Adobes compositing suite and CINEMA 4D. Native CINEMA 4D files can be opened directly in After Effects, and can also be edited and enhanced using the Live 3D workflow. Compositing passes can be selected directly in After Effects for editing, even by users who are new to 3D.

On the heels of the release of CINEMA 4D R15, and together with Adobe After Effects update 12.1, CINEWARE has been given its first revision, which makes working with the dream team of motion design even more comfortable and effective. Previously, the integrated Lite version of CINEMA 4D was started by default when 3D content was created or modified. Now, users have the option of selecting which version of CINEMA 4D (R14 or later) should be started automatically. This means that users who have CINEMA 4D Studio or Broadcast installed can access their 3D software of choice even more easily.

In addition, MAXONs Physical Renderer feature is available immediately to all CINEMA 4D R15 users - directly in the After Effects viewport. The Physical Renderer includes real-world camera functions - as you know them from 35 mm photography. In addition to aperture and shutter speed settings, effects such as depth of field, motion blur, chromatic aberration and vignetting are available. These functions add a cinematic stylistic look and offer a wide range of creative possibilities for rendering. With regard to render speed, CINEMA 4D R15s Physical Renderer works with Intels highly optimized Embree Raytracing Engine, which can speed up rendering by up to 300% - without compromising image quality.
