Astro offers more premiering local Tamil HD content for customers with Ramarajan' and Samayal Singgari'

Astro introduces more Tamil HD content with two premiering series, Ramarajan, the first local Tamil pet series, as well as Samayal Singgari, a local cooking show, premiering on 2 November and 15 November respectively, on Astro Vinmeen HD (CH 231), Astro GO and on demand.

Directed by renowned local filmmaker, Kabilan Plondran, also known for romantic comedy film Jhangri', customers can enjoy Ramarajan, a romantic comedy series filled with humourous, heart-warming scenes. Ramarajan features talented, local cast including Tokoh Sathiya, Thivyah Naidu, Datin Sri Dato Geethanjali G, Vicran Elanggoven, Kuben Mahadevan and David Anthony as well as a Golden Retriever, Foxxy. The story revolves around the family of Mr. Ramarajan and his two daughters, Supraja and Purvashini along with their beloved pet dog. After the death of Mr. Ramarajan's wife, he tries to reunite his family to fulfill his wife's last wish. However, Mr. Ramarajan's soul is trapped in their dog's body leading to unexpected events.

Customers can also enjoy Samayal Singgari, a cooking-show which will showcase a wide variety of delectable recipes with local chef, Shanti Raj; host, Vicky Rao; along with popular local celebrities including Denes Kumar, Magen Vikadakavi, Sheezay, Pashini Sivakumar, Hemaji, Ahila and Uthaya from RAAGA, Yasmin Nadiah, Kuben Mahadevan, Subashini Asokan, Santeinii B Subaschandra Bos, Thevaguru Suppiah and Mageswary Kannasamy (Mala Amlu). Samayal Singgari will also entertain customers and build awareness on eating healthy, while sharing lifestyle tips such as creating beauty hacks from perishable items, ideas for workouts in the kitchen, and more.

All customers can catch the premiere of Ramarajan on 2 November, with new episodes on Monday to Friday, at 9pm, and the premiere of Samayal Singgari on 15 November with new episodes every Sunday, at 9pm. Stream both series anytime via Astro GO and on demand.
