Media Links EMEA, a market leader in solutions to transport broadcast media and data over IP has announced it will officially launch its Partner Programme at IBC.
Media Links has a proven track record supporting major global events like the Olympic Games and the World Cup, we serve high profile media and broadcast clients like NBC and Turner and in addition, we are also a key supplier for global communications networks like Telstra, confirms John Smith, managing director, Media Links EMEA. Last year, as part of Media Links continued expansion program, we opened our first wholly-owned division in the EMEA region, based in the UK. To capitalise on the growing market for moving content over IP within the live broadcast environment, we are now looking for long-term strategic partners to address the diverse range of channels, languages and territories available.
We have all seen trading agreements that favour one side or the other, continues Smith. However, true partnership agreements have to understand and meet the needs of everyone in the chain. Therefore, we have carefully designed a Partner Programme to deliver a clear range of benefits to for partners and their clients.
Media Links support for pre-sales activity is the cornerstone to this programme, which includes assistance with resources, provision of demonstration equipment, marketing, technical and project management expertise, explains Smith. In addition, we offer full training and accreditation which customers can trust, plus exclusive pricing, service support, deal registration, and other go-to-market resources as well as access to future planning tools including product roadmaps, channel development and finance calculators.
Media Links technology enables the reliable conversion and movement of a complete suite of broadcast signals - video, audio and data - onto the clients multi-service IP networks, confirms Smith. This offers a multitude of opportunities for broadcasters and network providers to reduce the cost of producing live events and also take advantage of exciting new revenue streams. We are now looking forward to developing rich, inclusive partnerships to help deliver the advantages of these reliable technologies to new EMEA customers and helping them realise the full potential of moving content over IP.
