Grand Budapest Hotel Model Now at the Hollywood Museum

The Hollywood Museum, which houses the most extensive collection of Hollywood memorabilia in the world, today announced that the miniature model from the Oscar -winning Grand Budapest Hotelis on exclusive display in the museum's Celebration of Entertainment Awards Exhibit. Visitors will have a chance to view the bright-pink nine-feet by 14-feet model up close, which was created by Adam Stockhausen, who recently took home the Academy Award for Best Production Design.

Adam stopped by The Hollywood Museum on Saturday to see his handiwork before speaking at The Art of Production Design Oscar-nominee panel hosted by the Art Directors Guild and the Set Decorators Society of America.

The Grand Budapest Hotel won a total of four Oscars including Best Production Design, Costume Design, Makeup and Hairstyling and Original Score.

The design of the film emerged from the collaboration between Wes Anderson and Adam Stockhausen. Stockhausen, who previously worked on The Darjeeling Limited, Moonrise Kingdom and Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave, knew this film would be a creative experience unlike any other. We worked across these tiny, beautiful, little towns, and being there you become immersed completely in that world, he says. It became a very special journey.

The Celebration of Entertainment Awards Exhibit, which opened February 4 and is scheduled to run through Sunday, April 26, offers visitors a chance to see hundreds of authentic costumes, props and memorabilia from nominated films and TV shows. Highlights include the Dodge Challenger driven by Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler, costumes worn by Amy Adams in Big Eyes, Frances McDormand's mother-of-the-groom dress from Olive Kitteridge and the red leather jacket worn by Viola Davis in How to Get Away with Murder, among many others.
