The SVG Summit (December 16-17, New York City) is nearly one month away and the event's lineup is continuing to fill up.

The popular Day 2 General Sessions on the event's main stage will be highlighted by a special look at The Munich Massacre and how behind-the-scenes sports production crews can pivot when a sporting event becomes a news event.

On September 5, 1972 the sports broadcasting world was changed forever, as the storied team at ABC Sports found themselves at the center of an unimaginable world tragedy, which unfolded only yards away from their German Broadcast Center. Now the basis of a motion picture, September 5, SVG will honor this live merger of news and sports with a reflection at that event and the people who helped viewers around the world follow the hostage crisis.
