Gemeinsam mit der Deutschen Zentrale f r Tourismus (DZT) begibt sich Great Big Story auf eine faszinierende Entdeckungsreise nach Deutschland, der Geburtsst tte des Bauhaus-Stils. Die vierteilige Videoserie erforscht den weitreichenden Einfluss der Bauhaus-Schule auf die reichhaltige Kultur des Landes und zeigt, dass die Relevanz der Bauhaus-Bewegung weit ber die weltber hmte Architektur hinausgeht.
Die von CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) initiierte Partnerschaft umfasst eine Great Big Story-Videoserie, die auf unterschiedlichen Kan len und Social Media-Accounts mit einer Reichweite von mehr als 10 Millionen Fans, Followern und Reisenden zur Verf gung gestellt wird. Im ersten Video, das heute ver ffentlicht wurde, geht Great Big Story auf die Urspr nge des Bauhauses ein. Weitere Videobeitr ge folgen im Laufe des Jahres. Alle Videos werden ber die Plattformen und Social Media-Accounts von Great Big Story mithilfe von Turners Launchpad-Technologie verbreitet, um die anvisierten Zielgruppen, darunter kulturbewusste sowie an Deutschland interessierte Reisende, zu erreichen.

Im Rahmen der vierteiligen Videoserie reist Great Big Story auf den Spuren des Bauhauses durch Deutschland:
THE BIRTHPLACE OF BAUHAUS: Als im Jahr 1919 eine alternative Schule in Deutschland entstand, beeinflusste sie die Architektur auf der ganzen Welt. Heute ist die Bauhaus-Architektur berall zu finden. Great Big Story bietet Zuschauern eine Reise durch die beiden Geburtsst tten, Weimar und Dessau, in denen die inspirierenden minimalistischen und praktischen Entw rfe des Bauhauses allgegenw rtig sind.
BAUHAUS FURNITURE MASTER: Es gibt M belst cke, die eine ganze Epoche definieren - und dazu z hlen auch Bauhausm bel. Axel Bruchh user und sein Vater geh ren weltweit zu den wenigen Herstellern echter deutscher Bauhausm bel. Die Marke Tecta wurde im Jahr 1956 im kleinen Ort Lauenf rde gegr ndet. Bruchh user Senior arbeitete bei den Entw rfen sogar mit dem Bauhaus-Experten Marcel Breuer zusammen (ein Pionier was die Verwendung von Stahlrohren in M beln betrifft). Heute produziert Tecta die meisten Bauhaus-Originalm bel der Welt. Great Big Story taucht ein in die Welt des wahren Handwerks.
BAUHAUS BALLET: Die meisten Menschen denken bei Ballett als erstes an den Nussknacker oder Schwanensee. Es gibt jedoch ein weiteres Ballett, das sich bew hrt hat - das vom Bauhaus inspirierte Triadische Ballett von 1977. hnlich wie das Bauhaus folgt auch dieses Ballett nicht den Regeln der Konvention. Die Kost me sind Avant Garde und ihrer Zeit voraus. Great Big Story besucht eine aktuelle Auff hrung des Triadischen Balletts von 1977 und spricht mit Ivan Li ka und Colleen Scott, die seit dem ersten Tag als Solisten involviert sind.
THE SCHOOL OF FASHION AHEAD IF ITS TIME: Das Bauhaus beeinflusste zahlreiche Aspekte der Kultur und des Designs, einschlie lich der heutigen Mode. Bauhaus-Designer Oskar Schlemmer war bekannt f r seine futuristischen und extravaganten Kost me, die er f r das Triadische Ballett von 1922 entwarf. Die Kost me waren so neumodisch, dass sie David Bowie beeinflussten und in j ngster Zeit Lady Gaga zur Verwendung der Bauhaus- sthetik inspirierten. Great Big Story trifft sich mit der modernen Designerin Anne Gorke, um ber das Verm chtnis des Bauhauses in der Modewelt zu reflektieren und zu erfahren, wie es in ihren und anderen Projekten in die Zukunft getragen wird.
