Rohde & Schwarz announces acquisition of Adyton Systems Munich, Mar 13, 2014 - Rohde & Schwarz expands its IT security portfolio and invests in a strong growth market by acquiring the Leipzig-based producer of network security solutions. The comprehensive expertise of Adyton Systems is an advantageous addition to the existing Rohde & Schwarz portfolio, strengthening the electronic experts presence in the network security segment.

Rohde & Schwarz has successfully completed the process of acquiring Adyton Systems AG, a Leipzig-based producer of next-generation firewalls. The Munich-based electronics group has been an Adyton Systems AG investor since 2011. The Leipzig-based company has been operating as a fully owned independent subsidiary of the Rohde & Schwarz group of companies since December 2013 and is currently in the process of being converted into a limited liability company (GmbH).
