Toronto, ON November 19, 2018 The Strumbellas know how to plot a long game. The six-piece collective may have rocketed to mainstream success two years ago with their breakthrough hit, Spirits, but they have always been thinking one step ahead. Today, they announce two of those next steps the release of their new single, Salvation, and the start of a partnership with eOne Music. The band will release their new single on November 30th, via their own imprint, Underneath A Mountain Records, which is under exclusive license to eOne Music for Canada.

"The Strumbellas are a global force of nature and we are so excited that they have honoured us with the opportunity to work with them on this new music," says Chris Taylor, Global President, Music, Entertainment One. For the group Simon Ward (vocalist, acoustic guitarist), David Ritter (keys), Jeremy Drury (percussion), Isabel Ritchie (strings), Jon Hembrey (guitar) and Darryl James (bass) Salvation (produced by Tim Pagnotta (Walk The Moon, Elle King)) marks a stylistic turn from their melancholy, introspective releases. Over a punching backbeat, Ward sings optimistically of life and the good that it can bring.

The band, which is currently in the studio working on its fourth album, is riding high on the success of its last project, Hope, which released in 2016 via Glassnote. Spirits became a runaway hit for The Strumbellas, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in America and cracking the international market in countries including Germany, Italy and France. Spirits recently went 3x Platinum in Canada.
