LONDRES 10 de janeiro de 2012 A Pilat Media Global plc [AIM: PGB], fornecedora l der de softwares de gest o empresarial no segmento de m dia, anunciou hoje que a Globosat iniciou a utiliza o do software Integrated Broadcast Management System (IBMS) da Pilat Media em toda a sua rede.
A Globosat, empresa das Organiza es Globo, a maior fornecedora de conte do de televis o paga da Am rica Latina e a l der do mercado brasileiro de programa o multicanal via cabo e sat lite. No dia 1 de dezembro de 2011, a Globosat passou todos os seus 32 canais para o IBMS Content, um sistema centralizado e duradouro que gerencia e integra a aquisi o e o planejamento de conte do, a programa o e a reprodu o de ativos de m dia, al m do invent rio de conte do e da gest o de direitos para as principais empresas de m dia do mundo. O IBMS substitui um conjunto de sistemas desenvolvidos pela pr pria empresa, os quais vinham sendo usados para a aquisi o e a programa o de conte do havia mais de 15 anos.
Depois de muitos anos usando os nossos pr prios sistemas internos, chegou o momento de levar a nossa empresa, e seus mais de 400 usu rios diretos, para uma solu o com padr es que pudesse combinar todos os nossos diferentes processos de programa o de conte do em uma plataforma nica e vers til, disse o CFO da Globosat Programadora Ltda, Manuel Belmar. Para come ar a prepara o para os importantes eventos esportivos que ser o transmitidos do Brasil, a Copa do Mundo de 2014 e depois os Jogos de 2016, decidimos come ar com os 32 canais simultaneamente. A convers o de um dia para o outro ocorreu sem nenhum sobressalto e nos deu a confian a de que escolhemos a plataforma ideal para gerenciar toda a programa o atual e para acelerar o lan amento de novos canais e servi os.
Nesta primeira fase de implanta o do IBMS, o sistema assume as fun es de aquisi o e programa o de conte do, al m da gest o de m dia de todos os canais da Globosat. Al m disso, o IBMS gerencia contratos, licenciamento e direitos das m sicas que acompanham a programa o da Globosat, de forma que todas as can es sejam usadas de acordo com os direitos negociados e todos os contratos sejam projetados para um maior custo-benef cio. Componente fundamental dos neg cios da Globosat, o IBMS est muito bem integrado com sistemas externos de venda de espa os publicit rios e de gest o financeira usados pela empresa. Assim, proporciona um processo perfeito para programa o, reprodu o e faturamento final de publicidade.
